Osram Silverstars

Firstly sorry for all the questions, I'm so pumped to get my car that I have so many ideas in my head. Does anyone know where these bulbs can be purchased?

Thank you.

Kargoboy from this board has them. PM him for more info. You can find them other places as well, but Kargo tends to have great products at a great price. Plus, you'd be supporing another board member, which is what we're all about

Great choice Shasta. I'm running those lights and they work great! I didn't buy them from Gary though because I wasn't a member here when I purchased them. I ordered them from a European website.

Are you running the blues or whites, Luzer?

Shasta: just be careful about custom charges.
There is also a store in Quebec that sells HID kits.

Good point about customs charges. Typically, you'll be best off doing 2 day air or next day air - the prices sound outrageous when you get the quote, but the customs and brokerage fees are included, not tacked on. It can actually cost you MORE to ship ground from the US to Canada.

Dale.

From the past experiences I've had shipping items to Canada it's normally just as easy to ship as it is within the US. I sold my stock tail lights a little while back and one went to Ontario, and the other to California. Can you guess which one cost more? The one going to Cali .. so I don't think you should have too much to worry about to be honest with you. Canada and the US have a pretty well integrated mail system so stuff is able to flow in and out without a problem.

Now I very well could be wrong since you guys do live there and all .. and maybe it depends on which part of Canada you live in, but just from a few of my past experiences it wasn't any more money to ship into Canada than it would be somewhere on the west coast of the US.

Hey Krazie, were you just mailing, or declaring values of purchased goods? If you are buying from a vendor, you need to go through the customs process, whereas with private sales you can just mail it and not declare anything.

Yea I was just mailing stuff .. they were private sales over the forum thru PayPal so I guess that's why I never had to pay anything extra. Thanks for the info tho, it might come in handy one day.

Luzer were you able to get both high and low bulbs form Osram? Kargoboy does not carry that brand so I'm looking at the euro powebulb.com site but the Osram in white is only in H7 and I don't want the blues but they are available.

Yes,

http://www.xenonexpert.com/index.html

I should have said in my earlier post, but I was at work and was rushing it. =)

I haven't bought anything from them before, but I bought something from twmperformance.com, another company in Quebec. Bought their Mazda3 short shifter and it arrived fine. Shipping was decent (monetary and service-wise) and I would suspect shipping from Xenon Expert would be pretty similar.

Contact them to make sure that their product will fit in a P5. They seem to carry mostly Mazda3 stuff.

I only picked up the low beams from them. My highs are original, but I rarely use them.
