Gauging Interest (complete DOHC swap)

Hello,

As you all know all Canadian Protege/323s (except the GTs) had a 1.8L SOHC or 1.6L DOHC engine.

Anywho what I'm doing is gauging peoples interest in a -complete- package to upgrade your 1.8L SOHC or 1.6L DOHC BG car to a 1.8L DOHC setup.

By complete I mean: engine (longblock), transmission, axles, wiring harness, and ecu. (anything else i'm missing? ) All parts from a Protege GT.

Is there any interest in something like this? This would be easiest for people in Ontario/Quebec, or close to southern ontario (for any Americans). Also what would you guys be willing to pay for something like this?

I have two full setups that I eventually want to sell. One soon (as soon as I can get the car into the garage to pull the engine and everything out of it) and one a little down the road when I do a KLZE swap.

-Dave

I'd be interested depending on the price. I'm in Maine so it wouldn't be too much of a drive maybe 3 hours, 5 at the most. I have a 91 323 SE Hatch with a 1.6 SOHC and would love to get the 1.8 DOHC. I was planning on doing it myself but if you've got a setup going let me know. A buddy of mine just bought a 97 Probe GT with the 2.5 V6 and that would be a beautiful engine, but cost some $$. Let me know.

Welp. Complete for you would be a few dollars more, as to swap from an auto 1.6 to a manual 1.8 DOHC will require a few extra parts! But the good news is, I have all the parts needed on my parts car! (only for one auto swap though)
